Review of Minutes -Motion to accept the minutes
seconded by Alex

Additions- Rosa presented a funding request from
CASA for “Be Safe Be Seen” Project for $1000. Alex motioned to give CASA $1000
seconded by Darryl. All in Favor. Passed

to councils and groups. About the Board who and what they do.

PDD giving out money for affordable housing
modifications for homes for serious need, apply to Sandi Koop
for either agency owned or individual owned.

Michener Power Council
Power Council is
working on a few things:

Jobs for clients

We have a new meeting space at the old Happy Hobbies

We are talking about healthy living

We want to do a project on the Peace Tree.

In Masterminds the practicum students have talked to
us about our feelings and how everyone has a gift. We are going to be talking
about community inclusion.

We went to Calgary for the Film Festival.
We are a part of CASA, CAAN, Rights

CARS Cougars
·
Workshop Committee making a workshop about how to
know what abuse is and how to stop it.
·
Working on Fundraiser in June.
·
Valentines dance was great 85 people
·
Planning a Spring dance

Excited about Self Advocate Conference
·
Right Group members are putting together a
presentation for staff meetings about Rights.
